MP: Two killed in highway accident

Two persons were killed when their motorcycle suffered a head-on collision with a Maruti van on Khanwa-Baroda state highway, police said on Tuesday.

Ravindra Yadav (22) and Rakesh Dhangar (21) were killed in the accident that took place in the Unn police station area of Madhya Pradesh's Khargone district on Monday night, head constable Santosh Choudhary said.

The victims were on their way home to Segaon village after finalising preparations for Dhangar's wedding, he said.

The driver of the van has been arrested and further probe is underway, he added.
