Mukhiya's husband shot dead
Rajesh Kumar Ravi alias Mohan Yadav, the husband of Uttari Marauna panchayat mukhiya Sunaina Devi was on way to his native village last night when the assailants stopped him before hacking him to death with a sharp object, police said.
The family members have alleged that political enmity could be the motive behind Ravi's murder.
An FIR has been lodged by the victim's family members against five persons, the police said.
