The CM made the announcement while participating in 'Anhad Samaroh', held at Dewas yesterday to mark the 25th death anniversary of the singing exponent, who was also known as 'Shivaputra'.
"A museum to showcase the life and legacies of Kumar Gandharva will be set up in Dewas. The place would be selected after a discussion," Chouhan said.
"Music makes life blissful. It is impossible to describe heights given to music by Pandit Kumar Gandharvaji. I am fortunate to visit the place where Kumarji has devoted his life for music," he added.
He also announced the installation of a statue of Kumar Gandharva in Dewas, while Civil Lines road in the city will also be named after him.
