My affair gave me a lot to write about: Rimes

Singer LeAnn Rimes says her love affair with married actor Eddie Cibrian helped her churn out good songs.
The 30-year-old began a relationship with Cibrian while she was still married to her first husband Dean Sheremet and Cibrian was married to model Brandi Glanville, reported Daily Star.
They later divorced their previous partners to marry in 2011.
"We were both married to other people and we went through the whole affair and thank god it turned out, it came out in my music and like I said I really didn't set out to do that. It was very cathartic," she said.

Asked if that was the reason she had taken so long with a new album, the singer said, "No, life happens and it was amazing, even though it was crappy at times, but it gave me a lot to write about and I took my time.
