NABARD to provide assistance of Rs 75 crore to Rajasthan

NABARD will provide a financial assistance of Rs 75 crore to Rajasthan for infrastructure facilities and financial literacy at village level, Cooperative Minister Ajay Singh said today.
National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) Chief General Manager Sarita Arora and APEX Bank Managing Director K K Gupta signed two MoUs concerning financial assistance of Rs 75 crore to Rajasthan, the minister said here.
Of the total amount, Rs 45 crore would be provided to the cooperative banks for financial literacy at village level, while Rs 15 crore would be given to Deposit Mobilisation Agent for infrastructure facilities, the minister said.
Remaining Rs 15 crore would be used in Financial Inclusion Gateway for distributing funds at village level, he said.
