Through this MoU, both the organisations would collectively work for regeneration of forests and rural economy.
"Nabard and WRI would work in the areas of climate change adaptation and mitigation, land restoration, energy access for rural areas through renewable energy, transfer of technologies, scaling up adaptation, tools based on best practises at global level for promoting sustainable development," Nabard Chairman Harsh Kumar Bhanwala said.
Nabard also signed an MoU with Godrej & Boyce for implementation of CSR initiatives in sectors like healthcare, education, sanitation, drinking water at all areas nearby Godrej factories and in those places where Nabard has projects.
