The incident occurred last evening when Akhilesh along with Dimple, MP from Kannauj, was returning from Saifai after the last rites of his uncle Ratan Singh Yadav, official sources said today.
The helicopter, which was initially scheduled to land at La Martiniere college near the CM's residence, had to make an emergency landing at Amausi airport.
