Naval ship, barge run aground in rough sea
The ship was being towed to Mumbai from Chennai by the barge when strong winds swept them close to the shores near the Pamban bridge connecting the island with mainland.
Rescue work was on to pull back the ships but high tide was hampering the operations, officials said.
