Two Naxals, one of them carrying a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head, were today apprehended from Chhattisgarh's insurgency-hit Kondagaon area, police said.
Jagat and Ramnath Sodi, both aged 30, were nabbed from Kudur and Nahkanar respectively during a search operation which was launched by the security forces in the interior villages, Kondagaon Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh told PTI.
While Jagat was active as the head of 'Janatana Sarkar' wing of the outlawed CPI (Maoist) in Kudur, Sodhi belonged to janmilitia cadre, he said.
They were wanted in several incidents, including attacks on police party, loot and murder, he added.
