"National Conference is the people's movement which has a track record of serving people of the state for last six decades," Commerce and Industries Minister S S Slathia said.
Addressing a public gathering at Smailpur in Samba district, Slathia cautioned people against those indulged into opportunistic politics.
Slathia said NC has clear vision about the ambitious "Naya Kashmir" which will transform Jammu and Kashmir into a model state.
He said the coalition government in the state has launched a multi-pronged strategy to ensure speedy and equitable development of all the three regions of the state.
Slathia said under the current leadership, the state has recorded a tremendous progress in the fields of education, employment, tourism and infrastructure development.
