"While credibility in the process of selection shall remain a big question mark, the temporary nature of appointments with rider of seven years satisfactory performance for regularisation is bound to result in uncertainty of those appointed", NC leader and MLA Nagrota, Devender Singh Rana claimed.
"It is an anti-youth policy, which has potential of jeopardising the career of the educated unemployed, as those appointed will always feel a sword hanging over them", the NC leader further claimed.
The National Conference leaders expressed surprise over devising this policy.
"When a well-defined process of recruitment is in place, why should the PDP-BJP government resort to short cuts. This is bound to raise certain questions in the public mind about recruitment being politicised at the cost of youngsters' career," NC leader and MLA Javed Rana said.
Demanding an immediate rollback of the new policy the NC leaders said that the policy would open a Pandora's box which will give rise to "corruption, nepotism and favouritism".
