Some of the initiatives taken by the Labour Ministry include helping in construction of houses for beedi workers and programmes for the benefit of workers in film industry, he said.
Dattatreya was speaking at an event, where the Telangana unit of BJP launched party membership drive.
"BJP activists need to take the achievements of the government to the people and the party has all chance of winning the ensuing Hyderabad corporation polls," he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries G M Siddeswara said the government had many achievements to its credit like 6.50 crore bank accounts being opened under 'Jan Dhan Yojana', rural areas being developed under 'Sansad Adarsh Gram' and with initiatives like 'Make in India' among others.
