"The dream of economic blueprint promised to the people has turned out to be blueprint of hogging limelight in the one year of its rule...The insatiable quest for personal propaganda, event management and attractive slogans have turned this government into the one looking for headlines rather than the one which aims to catch investments," AICC General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP B K Hariprasad said here.
On the "Make in India" campaign of the Narendra Modi government, he said it was merely a political slogan as during its one year rule, exports have fallen by 11 per cent compared to the previous year.
"All promises such as providing employment to 2 crore people in a year was also not fulfilled and only over 17 lakh new jobs were generated," he added.
