The symposium, convened at St Thomas Apostolic Seminary, Vadavathoor here yesterday was inaugurated by Philippose Mar Stephanos, member of KCBC Family Commission and Auxiliary Bishop of Thiruvalla.
The bishop highlighted the need for inculcating a strong moral foundation in the new generation, making it capable of withstanding the contemporary challenges, a press release said.
Rev Dr Vincent Alappat welcomed everyone in the inaugural meeting, followed by the felicitations by Rev. Dr. AntoCheranthuruthy and Rev. Dr. ScariaKanniyakonil. In the subsequent sessions the main papers were presented by Rev. Dr. Jose Kochuparambil, Rev. Dr. Jose Kottayil, Rev. Dr. Abraham Joseph, and Rev. Dr. Thomas Tharayil.
