Neighbour held for raping married woman

A man was arrested for allegedly raping a married woman in Shampur village here, police said today.
Harpreet Singh was named as the accused in the complaint filed by the woman who lives in his neighbourhood, Station House Officer Jarnail Singh said.
The accused even threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the matter to anyone, police said.
An FIR was lodged at the Dera Baba Nanak police station and the accused was arrested.
