Nepalese youth arrested with explosive in UP

A Nepalese youth was arrested with an explosive substance from Rupaidiha area along Indo-Nepal border here, an SSB official said today.
Deependra Raj Hamal (18), a native of Kalikot area in Nepal, was arrested from the border area yesterday, Deputy Commandant of Seventh Battalion of SSB said.
The official said 21 fuses, 37.5 feet of wire along with 1.12 kg of a class-two explosive substance were recovered from his possession.
Hamal worked in Rudraprayag in Uttarakhand.
He has been handed over to Rupaidiha police and is being interrogated by SSB, local intelligence unit and other security agencies.
