NER NCC brass meet Arunachal CM on units in all state schools

Additional Director General, NCC Directorate NER, Maj Gen S P S Kohli accompanied by Brig N K Dabas, Group Commander, NCC group headquarter Tezpur and Col S A Patil CO 1 AP Bn NCC Naharlagun, called on Chief Minister Nabam Tuki at his residential office and discussed about introduction of NCC units in all colleges in the state.
During the meeting held yesterday, the ADG admitted that cadets from Arunachal Pradesh were exceptionally good and hoped with the new battalion in Tawang and upgradation of NCC unit of Pasighat to a battalion, there would be a major facelift of the NCC in the state.

He sought assistance from the state government for identifying a suitable land for setting up of a NCC academy.
The Chief Minister assured all possible assistance and appreciating the NCC for its performances, Tuki suggested for extensive publicity about benefits given to NCC cadets for their future.
