Network18 Media posts loss of Rs 36.46 crore in Q2

Network18 Media and Investments today posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 36.46 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.
The company had registered a consolidated net loss of Rs 39.83 crore in the same period a year ago.
Network18's total income from operations for the July September quarter stood at Rs 744.83 crore. It was Rs 669.84 crore during the same period previous fiscal.
The company has said that the results were not comparable as Equator Trading enterprises including its subsidiary Prism TV has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Moreover, Eenadu Television has also become an associate of the company from January this year.
"To this extent, the results of this period are not comparable with the corresponding previous period," Network18 Media and Investments said.
