"The new Pakistani government should raise the Kashmir-issue on priority basis and ensure participation of the separatist leadership in any talks with India for a just and durable solution to the problem," a spokesman of the Hurriyat said after a meeting of its executive council here.
The meeting, which was chaired by Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, also congratulated Nawaz Sharif for becoming the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Referring to the war of words between Hurriyat constituent Anjuman Shar-e-Shian and pro-Independence JKLF, the spokesman said the amalgam expressed full support to Anjuman chairman Aga Syed Hassan.
JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik on Monday accused moderate Hurriyat leaders of amassing huge assets under the garb of "freedom movement", a charge denied by the amalgam leaders as baseless.
