The Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman M Kodandaram today unveiled the flag of his newly-launched 'Telangana Jana Samiti' party.
The TJAC mainly comprises different people's organisations.
During the separate Telangana agitation, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti and other parties were either part of the TJAC or expressed solidarity with it.
The TJS flag comprises different colours, including blue, green and yellow, Kodandaram said.
Green symbolises prosperity, yellow signifies auspiciousness and blue reflected the thoughts of B R Ambedkar, he said.
Kodandaram, who launched his party on April 2, had alleged that after formation of Telangana state, democratic rights of the people were neglected and that justice was not done to any section in the society.
He had said his party is for the people.
A public meeting would be held on April 29 in the state capital marking the TJS formation, he said.
