New US Consul General in Hyderabad assumes charge

Senior diplomat Michael Mullins today assumed the position of US Consul General in Hyderabad.
Prior to his present assignment, Mullins served as the Minister Counsellor for Management Affairs at the US Embassy in
New Delhi, a release from the Consulate General here said.
A member of the Senior Foreign Service with the rank of Minister Counsellor, Mullins began his foreign service career in 1989 in El Salvador followed by postings in Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, it added.
