New VC for Rajiv Gandhi University
RGU Registrar Rachob Taba in a press release said that the appointment order was communicated to the central varsity from the Union HRD Ministry.
The appointment would be for five years, the release said.
The post of the VC remained vacant since last several months after its former VC David R Syiemlieh left the post on being appointed as a member of UGC.
