TV actress Nikita Sharma, who made her acting debut with popular show 'Do Dil Ek Jaan', wants to be a part of a dance reality show.
Delhi based Nikita came to Mumbai a few months back to become an actress and bagged popular show 'Do Dil Ek Jaan'. Now, the newbie has expressed her desire to star in reality shows.
"TV is a great medium to reach almost every home and people are so connected with television nowadays. I would love to be a part of any good dance reality show because I love dancing. Reality shows are a good medium to connect with the audience," Nikita told PTI.
The actress is already receiving appreciation for her performance in 'Do Dil Ek Jaan', where she plays actor Farooque Sheikh's daughter, who migrates to Mumbai from Kashmir to accomplish a dream.
"It's my first show and I am living my dream with open eyes. I am happy to be a part of this show... I am enjoying every bit of it. This show and character have given me a new life and a great chance to prove myself as a good actor. As an actor it feels good to get such good responses and appreciation from viewers," she said.
Nikita rubbished rumours that her non-serious attitude and lack of commitment at work had prompted the makers of the serial to replace her.
"It was just a rumour, so I don't want to say much on that. I am too busy to give my attention to such kind of news because I believe that I have better things to read and think," she added.
