"We want the NIA to conduct an impartial investigation so that the real culprits are punished and not the innocent ones," the Association's Chairman Mohammed Yahiya told a press conference here.
"The NIA is a national agency and it should conduct an investigation in a neutral manner not influenced by any particular race or community," he said.
"We have nothing to say the way the NIA is investigating into the Burdwan blasts but we would like to stress that the probe must not hurt any particular community," he said.
He also alleged that the media has been 'concealing' facts while reporting the NIA probe.
"We are surprised that the media is also concealing facts. Everyday what we are reading is a fabricated story scripted by the media houses which has no connection with the truth... We demand that the media should come out with the truth and name the culprits in their inside reports of the NIA probe," he said.
"Reports that Madrasas are training militants will spoil the reputation. We see it as a hidden agenda to destroy the Madrasa system... It's done so that parents don't send their children there," he alleged.
"People have little knowledge about Madrasas. They think Madrasas are centres where militants are trained but the truth is that in Madrasas poor children are taught and given food. But if we find any Madrasa has terror link we will destroy it," Yahiya added.
