The complaint accuses Gordon, 25, of dragging Bobbi Kristina upstairs by her hair, withdrawing her funds without authorisation, and knocking out her teeth just hours before she was discovered face down and unresponsive in a bathtub on January 31, reported Us magazine.
"Today I filed a lawsuit on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown. I filed this lawsuit to pursue justice on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown. No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured," Hargrove's statement read.
The lawsuit also notes that Bobbi Kristina had confided to someone that Gordon was "not the man she thought he was" and that she had set up a time on January 31 to meet with her confidant.
Earlier in the day, Bobbi Kristina's family announced that after five months in a coma, the 22-year-old was being moved into hospice care.
