Kelechi Mark Ukaepu (20) was apprehended from Rajouri Garden on Wednesday on a tip-off, Sanjay Kumar Jain, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), said.
Ukaepu came to India last month on double entry business visa as he wanted to start textile business from the country. This month he again came to Delhi and during his stay, he met a fellow Nigerian, Stanley, who allegedly lured him into the drug trade.
"Stanley used to give him cocaine. He also used to call his clients and used to ask Ukaepu to supply cocaine to them. Stanley used to keep a watch over Ukaepu from a safe distance during supply of contraband.
"On Wednesday, both of them had come near Vishal Cinema to deliver cocaine to a contact, but Ukaepu was arrested," Jain said.
