Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of

Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh. They were markedly above normal in some parts of west Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Madhya Maharashtra; appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Konkan and Goa, Marathwada and Vidarbha; appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, east Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala; remaining parts of west Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh and of Saurashtra and Kutch and were above normal in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, east Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and of coastal Karnataka and in remaining parts of Odisha and of Gujarat region. They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 7 deg C has been recorded at Narnaul (Haryana) in the plains of the country.
