Nine arrested for hunting deer

Based on information about movement of poachers in the area, forest department formed two teams which found nine people sharing deer meat near a temple in Kuthammandi South, they said.

The officials seized the meat and the single barrel rifle from their possession.

They were later handed over to police, the officials said.
