The heritage train was suspended following landslide coupled with falling of boulders on the track near Aderley on Thursday last.
Landslide was noticed at various points even as the restoration works are being carried out prompting the authorities to suspend the services for yesterday and also today, Southern Railway sources said.
Tourists were disappointed due to cancellation of the services. Some of them, besides local people, accused the railways of not keeping their promise made in July last year that laying of protection walls and strong iron rods to prevent frequent landslides on the 40 km stretch would be completed in one year.
