Paltrow was asked about the prospect of returning for a fourth film, and she said, "I don't think there's going to be an 'Iron Man 4'. I think we're done with Iron Man."
Although Robert Downey Jr's contract with Marvel Studios ended with "Iron Man 3", he is expected to return as Tony Stark in Joss Whedon's "The Avengers 2", reported Digital Spy.
Some reports suggested that Downey Jr was uncertain about continuing the Iron Man series, although "Iron Man 3" director Shane Black said he was "sure" the actor would return for a fourth film.
