The HRD Ministry is not considering any proposal to run all the Kendriya Vidyalayas in double shifts, the Rajya Sabha was informed today.
Union Minister of State for HRD, Upendra Kushwaha shared the information in response to a written question in the Upper House of Parliament.
"No such proposal to run all the Kendriya Vidyalas in double shifts is under consideration of the government at present," he said.
Kushwaha also refused to comment on any timeline by which such a proposal is likely to be considered by the government.
