No religion preaches terrorism: Mauritius Prez Fakim
Press Trust of India Barabanki (UP) Mauritius President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim has said no religion preaches terrorism.
No religion preaches terrorism as terrorism has no religion and she wants peace and harmony for India and its people, the Mauritius President, who paid obeisance at the Dargah of sufi saint Waris Ali Shah last evening, said.
"No one likes conflict as everyone wants peace... terrorists have no caste or religion," Fakim said.
To a question on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she said, "He is doing good work... Better works are being undertaken under his leadership."
Fakim offered chadar at the world renowned dargah of the sufi saint during her brief visit and prayed for peace.
