"The sting operation had shown persons taking money. Mamata Banerjee has said investigation will be done at party level. I want to say it with great responsibility that those whom you are seeing, none of them have taken money for their own interest or personal gains," Roy said at a meeting here.
"Let there be investigation, it will be proved," he said.
Later, in a statement, Roy said "Doctored/manufactured we still don't know. I know my colleagues for long. They are not the kind who would take money for personal gains.
