Normalcy is fast returning to Bihar's Nawada district following Sunday's communal violence that left two persons dead, with the administration today relaxing curfew from morning till midnight.
The curfew was relaxed from 6:00 AM till 12:00 PM to help local people make purchases for their daily needs, police said.
Meanwhile, adequate police personnel were deployed in the town to maintain law and order.
Shops were opened and traffic was resumed on the national highway.
A procession with representatives from both the communities was taken out, which appealed to the people to maintain peace.
