The Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre (NPAC) constituted its first advisory committee for the Delhi centre, which will include leading arbitration and commercial lawyers practising in the country and abroad, according to a statement.
According to the statement, the committee would advise and assist the Board of Directors of NPAC with planning and achieving operational milestones and work towards their common vision of making it a world-class arbitration centre.
Senior Advocate and NPAC Director Arvind Datar welcomed the members and said, "We are delighted that a younger generation of leading arbitration and commercial lawyers will be joining us to make a positive contribution towards arbitration ecosystem."
"We are enthused by the ideas, energy and initiatives that this group brings to NPAC and we look forward to working closely with them."
