In a statement issued here, Punjab Congress Chief Partap Singh Bajwa accused SAD-BJP-led government of misusing public money and sought an explanation from Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and state Minister Bikram Singh Majithia on the purpose of organising such summits.
Bajwa accused Badal and Majithia of misleading people by organising events such as 'Progressive Punjab Investment summit' and 'NRI sammelans' to attract foreign investments.
"They also issued advertisements in the newspapers along with statements by leading NRIs that they will invest in Punjab," Bajwa said.
