Nucleus Software launches FinnOne Neo

Mid-sized IT firm Nucleus Software Exports today unveiled its new solution, FinnOne Neo, to address requirements of the banking and financial services industry.
The new solution from Nucleus, which has over 150 clients across 50 countries, succeeds its existing FinnOne solution.
"FinnOne Neo is a comprehensive product suite incorporating the latest business focus, compliance, technology, functionalities and security aspects," Nucleus Software Product and Business Unit Head, FinnOne Neo, Arup Das said.
The product is in pilot testing at two places and will be rolled out for customers in India and overseas in Americas, Europe, Australia and Japan in the quarter ahead.

IDC positions Infosys as major player for oil, gas prof servc * Research firm IDC has positioned Infosys as a 'major player' for providing professional services to the oil and gas industry.

In its report titled IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Oil and Gas Professional Services 2014 Vendor Assessment, IDC assessed vendors for various capabilities.
The report discusses both quantitative and qualitative characteristics that define success in today's oil and gas professional services.
"Infosys has a well-conceived strategy for expanding into regions and market segments where there is room for growth. The company is investing in local resources in geographies like Iraq, Azerbaijan, Brazil, as well as using local partners in these regions for capabilities, local language and cultural fit," IDC said in the report.
