On way to Vaishno Devi, ITBP jawan suffers burn injuries

Two persons, including an ITBP jawan, today suffered burn injuries in a transformer blast en route the holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi today.
The blast occurred when a power department lineman was carrying out repair work on an electric transformer, police said.
Lineman Dardar Chand and ITBP jawan Harish Vora, a resident of Uttarakhand, who was standing nearby, were injured in the blast, they said.
The incident happened at Shanjichhat on the Vaisnho Devi pilgrimage route.
The injured were admitted to a hospital where the condition of both of them was stated to be critical.
