A patrol team of the Assam Police and the CRPF stopped a vehicle, from Dhaligaon side, on National Highway 31 last night, they said.
Four persons, who were travelling in the vehicle, but three managed to escape before police nabbed one of them and on checking the vehicle seized the arms, police said.
"We seized one AK 47 rifle, one revolver and six uniforms similar to that of the Army from the vehicle," one police official said, adding, that an investigation has been initiated into the matter.
