One arrested for illegal sand mining

A youth has been arrested in connection with illegal sand mining in Anangpur village, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, a raid was carried out in which Kamlesh, a resident of Bihar, was arrested, police said.
Two others, identified as Virendra from Ghaziabad and Jaibeer from Faridabad, are still absconding, they said.
Cases under relevant sections have been registered against the accused and searches are underway to nab them, police added.
