A 43-year-old man, an alleged drug peddler, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Narcotics and 600 gram of heroin worth around Rs one crore seized from him.
Nandkishore Sutar, resident of Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh, was yesterday arrested near Sarvata bus stand in the city, CBN's Indore unit superintendent Dipak Dubey said.
"We are trying to extract information from the accused as from where he got the consignment and where he was going to deliver it," Dubey said.
"Names of some people have come up during the investigation and we are looking for them," he added.
Sutar was booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
