The incident occured when the driver of a speeding truck lost his control over the vehicle and dashed against a bus coming from opposite direction this morning, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarter), R K Sah said
He said a woman identified as Rekha Devi died on the spot and 24 others were injured.
The driver of the truck managed to flee from the spot, the DSP said.
