One dies as truck rams into puja pandal
Superintendent of Police Jatin Narwal told newsmen that a large number of people turned up at the puja pandal on Mahasaptami day of the four-day festival when a speeding truck rammed into it, killing one person identified as Sunny (40) on the spot.
Around six others were injured who were referred to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi, he said.
The truck has been confiscated, he said.
