One held at IGI for smuggling in gold biscuits

CISF today apprehended a man who was allegedly trying to smuggle in ten gold biscuits on his arrival from Riyadh at the Indira Gandhi international airport here.
Sources said CISF personnel intercepted one Mohammed Naim, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, UP, when he trying to slip out through the green channel of the customs at the T3 terminal of the airport at about 1 pm.
A total of ten gold biscuits weighing a kilo were recovered from the passengers shoes.
He was later handed over to local authorities for further action, a senior official said.
