One held for black marketing govt ration

A man was arrested for alleged involvement in the black marketing of ration meant to be supplied to people on subsidised rates and three quintals of rice seized from his possession, police said today.
Bitto Ram was arrested in a raid conducted at Morha Chounchaly-Lowang area of Kathua district yesterday, they said.
His other two accomplices Bishamber Dass and Ved Parkash, both brothers, managed to escape from the spot, they said, adding a case has been registered against the accused.
