A 24-year-old man was today arrested on charges of peddling high-end narcotics near here, police said.
Shishir Chauhan was allegedly engaged in selling psychedelic drug Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) 'stamps', they said.
Police seized some LSD stamps and 150 grams ganja from his possession.
Chauhan used to go to Goa to purchase the drug and sold it in Hyderabad for higher rates to customers, police said.
"He used to purchase one LSD drug stamp for Rs 700 and was selling it for Rs 1500 to Rs 1800 per stamp,""Deputy Commissioner of Police (Task Force) P Radhakishan Rao said.
