A man was injured when husband of a deputy sarpanch allegedly opened fire in air following a ruckus at a gram sabha meeting in Sable Bhogaon village in adjoining Parbhani district today, police said.
The incident occurred when Manoj, the husband of deputy sarpanch Aasha Raut, allegedly fired in air when the ongoing discussion on implementation of MGNREGA scheme at the meeting turned ugly, they said.
