One Kanwaria killed; another injured in road accident in Gzb

One 'kanwaria' was killed and another injured when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a vehicle in Modinagar area here.
The incident took place when one Ravindra, a resident of Sadar Bazar, Delhi and his brother-in-law Amit were heading towards Haridwar on their motorcycle to bring holy water of the Ganga.
Traffic had been diverted on a single road and a speeding SUV coming from the opposite side collided head-on against the motorcycle last night at around 2:30am near Mahendra Puri Gate, Modinagar SHO Deepak Sharma said.
Police rushed them to nearby private hospital where Ravindra was declared brought dead by attending doctors.

Amit was referred to a Delhi hospital after administering initial first-aid.
The body of Ravindra had been sent for postmortem, police said, adding, the brother of the deceased, Arun has filed a complaint.
An FIR has been registered under section 304A of the IPC against the SUV driver, identified as Sushil, a native of Sikandar Pur village under jurisdiction of the Kotwali Dehat in Bijnaur.
Sushil has been arrested and the vehicle has been impounded, the SHO added.
