The 25-year old labourer died after the roof of the 'new smashanbhumi' (crematorium) at Belsangvi village in Latur district of Maharashtra collapsed on him today, killing him almost instantly.
Sachin was engaged in 'watering' the walls of the crematorium, a police official from nearby Wadhvana police station told PTI.
The incident happened around 11.30 AM, police said. Family members of the deceased have reached the police station and the process of filing a police case is underway, the official said.
