One killed, five injured in accident

One person was killed and five others were seriously injured when a motorcycle travelling on high speed rammed into an auto-rickshaw in Samastipur district of Bihar today.
The police said the incident happened near Khalispur village and the deceased has been identified as one Vikku Kumar (33), the auto-rickshaw driver.
"Four passengers travelling in the auto-rickshaw and the bike rider were also injured in the incident. The condition of the bike rider is critical and he is being treated at the government sub-divisional hospital here," Sarairanjan Station House Officer (SHO) Raj Kishore Kumar said.
Kumar said the auto-rickshaw driver's body has been sent for postmortem and his family members have been informed.

Both the vehicles involved in the accident have been seized and the incident is being probed.
